Eurolife Semi-Annual Meeting and Academic Symposium
As the Eurolife Network commemorates its 25th anniversary in 2024, representatives from partner institutions will convene in Göttingen for a momentous gathering. This landmark event, scheduled for May 16th and 17th, marks a quarter-century of impactful collaboration under the auspices of Eurolife.
The upcoming summit holds profound significance as it offers a platform for reflection on the remarkable journey of academic cooperation and achievements over the past 25 years with initiatives such as DATAETHICS. Representatives will engage in discussions highlighting the pivotal milestones and achievements attained through collective efforts within the Eurolife framework.
A focal point of the gathering will be the strategic planning of the DATAETHICS follow-up, aimed at sustaining the consortium’s significant influence on the evolution of conceptual and ethical frameworks inherent in Biomedical Big Data (BBD) collection and utilization. Furthermore, the meeting will serve as a forum for fostering European and international collaboration on shared practices in this critical domain.
Adding further significance to the event, the Eurolife Semi-Annual Academic Symposium will be held on the theme: “Advanced Therapies for Cardiovascular Disease: From Mechanism to Therapy.” Distinguished experts in the field, including Professors Wolfram-Hubertus Zimmermann from Göttingen, Prof. Marie-José Goumans from Leiden, and Prof. Andrew H Baker from Edinburgh, will deliver insightful talks, enriching the discourse with their profound expertise and perspectives.
As delegates converge in Göttingen for this momentous occasion, the Eurolife Network reaffirms its commitment to advancing academic excellence and fostering collaborative endeavors across Europe and beyond.
